Platinum Scraps was originally launched February of 2010 as a vision of several friends who met on the Cricut Message board who wanted to venture out into creating, sharing, and showcasing the many talents each of us possess. Platinum Scraps showcases the diversity in scrapbooking and features designers from all walks of life. To keep the tradition going, each week our design team is challenged to create a unique layout or card based on a sketch that exemplifies their skills and talents. NY Vacation

Here's a little scrap challenge hailing from Boston.

I really enjoyed working with this weeks featured sketch.  From the moment I saw it I had one of my quirky visions for the layout.  I usually interpret a sketch pretty literally as you can see.

I love butterflies and one of my favorite collections last year was Fancy Pants- It's The Little Things collection and I had just enough left over to use.  I pulled out some stamps, my embossing gun as well as punches from EK Success, Martha & Fiskars.  Here I am exploring every bit of NYC during a visit me and some of my scrapping sisters planned.  Thanks for stopping by!
